Does PayPal provide Package tracking?
Yes, the PayPal app can provide live shipping updates for your purchases. You can track things you buy with or without PayPal, from the biggest online stores to the small shops you love worldwide – all in one place.
What kind of packages can I track?
If it has a tracking number, we can help you track it. That includes things you buy online, in-store items for delivery, and even stuff you ship to other people.
You can track all these things in one place, whether you bought it with PayPal or not, and shipped with UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, or one of over 800 other carriers worldwide.
Can I track packages automatically?
Yes, all you need to do is link your Gmail or Outlook account. Be sure to link the email address where you get order confirmations when you shop.
Will my purchases get package tracking automatically?
You may get package tracking for some things you buy with PayPal, but not everything yet. Over time, you’ll notice that more of the things you buy with PayPal come with package tracking.
Once I start tracking packages, what can I expect?
Your tracked packages will be organized in a list with estimated arrival dates. You’ll also get notifications if you’re opted in to receive them, so you never
miss an update.
Quick tip: Turn on Package tracking notifications under the Product section, so you can receive updates on your package’s progress. Just go to your Profile in the PayPal app and select Notification Preferences.

Where can I find the Package tracking feature?
It’s exclusive to the PayPal app, and you can find it anytime in a couple places. On the Home screen, tap on the menu in the upper-left corner and find Package tracking in the list. You can also go to Activity and tap the Package tracking tile at the top of the screen.
What if I don’t see Package tracking in my app?
Package tracking is a new feature that may not be available to everyone just yet. Currently, it’s available to users in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and is rolling out to Australia and Canada.
Are there any packages I can’t track?
As long as it’s shipped with a tracking number from a carrier, we can help you track it. Sometimes, stores and sellers don’t provide tracking numbers for certain packages, so you won’t see them in our app.
Can I track packages shipped internationally?
You can track shipments to and from other countries that use international carriers like Deutsche Post, Yamato Transport, SF Express, Royal Mail, and over 800 additional pages worldwide.
Plus, if a package gets transferred from an international to a domestic carrier, we’ll automatically update the shipping details so you’ll always know the latest info about your package.
