Why hasn't the eCheque that I received cleared yet?

An eCheque is an electronic payment funded by the sender's bank account. It usually takes between 4-7 business days to clear, subject to local requirements.

Don’t ship any items or provide any services until the eCheque clears.

The payment may show as “pending” in your PayPal account and the recipient’s account. To view your payment status and the expected clearing date, visit your Activity and click on the transaction.

Here's how to see the expected clearing date of your incoming eCheque:

  1. Go to your Activity.
  2. Click the eCheque payment to see the details.

  2. Tap Activity.
  3. Tap the eCheque payment to see the details.
